About PPP
Python Publishing Press (PPP) is an independent academic publisher based in Bratislava, Slovakia. We publish peer-reviewed, open-access journals in computing and in the sciences that increasingly depend on it, and we make every article free for anyone to read.
Our first journals launched in 2022. Each one has its own editors and Aim & Scope, and all of them share the same publishing standards, policies and production process.
What we publish
Seven journals covering artificial intelligence and machine learning, AI in the biological sciences, DevOps and software engineering, data science, information retrieval, logic and theoretical computer science, and biogeography and environmental science. See them all on the Journals page.
How every PPP journal works
- Double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers, with decisions based on academic merit alone.
- Open access under CC BY 4.0. Articles are free to read from the day they are published, and authors keep their copyright.
- Crossref DOIs. Every article receives a DOI under the prefix 10.70705, so it can be cited and found reliably.
- Clear charges. There is no submission fee. An Article Processing Charge applies only after acceptance, and waivers are available.
- Research integrity. We screen for plagiarism and handle misconduct, corrections and retractions through documented procedures.
