Aim and Scope
Aim
Python Publishing Press exists to publish careful, useful research in computing and in the sciences that rely on computation, and to make that research free to read. We want each of our journals to be a place where good work is reviewed fairly, published quickly and found easily.
- Publish original, peer-reviewed research that advances its field.
- Give authors a clear, ethical and efficient route from submission to publication.
- Keep every article openly available under CC BY 4.0, with a permanent Crossref DOI.
- Encourage work that crosses disciplines, such as AI applied to biology or computation applied to the environment.
Scope
Our journals cover four broad areas:
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning: methods, systems and applications, including AI in the biological sciences (FETAIML, BioAI).
- Software, data and information: DevOps and software delivery, data science and analytics, search and information retrieval (DevOps – An Open Access Journal, Data Science – Extracting Insights, Intelligent Retrieval Journal).
- Foundations of computing: logic, formal methods, algorithms and theory (LTCS).
- Biological and environmental sciences: biogeography, ecology, GIS and climate (BioGeo).
