Aim & Scope
DevOps – An Open Access Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Python Publishing Press. It covers the practice and science of building, shipping and running software: how teams automate delivery, keep systems reliable and secure, and learn from what goes wrong in production.
We welcome empirical studies, tools, industrial experience reports and reviews, and we especially value work that others can reproduce or put to use in their own pipelines.
Scope
We welcome original research articles, reviews, short communications and case-based studies in areas including:
- Continuous integration, delivery and deployment (CI/CD)
- Infrastructure as code and configuration management
- Cloud-native architecture, containers, Kubernetes and microservices
- Site reliability engineering, observability and incident management
- DevSecOps, software supply-chain security and compliance
- AIOps, MLOps and automation of IT operations
- Software testing, quality and release engineering
- DevOps culture, team practices and organisational change
